Magnetic Nanorings for Biomedical Applications

چکیده

In this work we investigate the characteristics and feasibility of a new class magnetic particles that are optimized for possible biological applications as hyperthermia. These nanostructures have nanoring shape, being composed iron oxides (magnetite or hematite). Such morphology gives nanoparticles peculiar behavior due to their vortex state. The oxide nanorings were obtained using hydrothermal synthesis. X-ray Diffraction confirmed existence desired crystal structure Scanning Electron Microscopy shows magnetite had nanometric dimensions with annular (diameter ~250 nm). also show intensified properties transition This study showed it is obtain can be used in nanotechnological (mainly biotechnological ones aimed at treatment diagnosis cancer), large quantities simple synthesis route.
